"Wedang Ronde"

 For 6 Servings

"Wedang Ronde" , hhhmm .... Indonesia typical drink is very tasty served when the weather is cold or rainy season. Here we share recipes make "ronde" : 

Ingredients :

  • 1 piece ginger, crushed
  • Peanuts without skin
  • Water 1 liter
  • 200 grams of glutinous rice flour
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, crushed
  • 200grams sugar
  • 3 pieces of pandan leaves  
 

How to make :
  • Make "wedang" : Boil water with sugar, lemongrass and ginger to a boil, turn off the heat.
  • Knead the glutinous rice flour with warm boiled water little by little until the dough can be formed.
  • Divided into 3 parts remain white one, that one little piece of red paint, green colour (pandan leaves and suji leaves pounded give a little filtered water). Then the form of seed marbles.
  • Boil water in a saucepan. Insert dots or "ronde" glutinous rice cook until floating lift.
  • Enter into a round sphere "wedang".
  • Sprinkle with peanuts
