Rendang Egg

For 8 Servings

Rendang, an Indonesian typical foods included in the most delicious food in the world. Rendang is not only made from chicken or beef, but the eggs could also be made rendang, and it is equally tempting. Following we share how to make rendang eggs.
 
Ingredients:
  • 8 eggs, boiled, fried
  • 1 sheet turmeric leaf, made ​​a knot
  • 3 pieces of leaf bowl, finely chopped
  • 2 pieces of acid kandis
  • 3 stalks lemongrass, take the white, crushed
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of brown sugar
  • 1500 ml thin coconut milk (from squeezed coconut milk)
  • 5 grains of red onion, thinly sliced
  • 500 ml thick coconut milk from 2 coconuts
  • 3 tsp oil for sauteing

Seasonings:
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp fennel
  • 10 grains of red onion
  • 6 slung garlic
  • 5 pieces of curly red chili
  • 3 pieces of the big red chili
  • 2 cm galangal
  • 2 cm turmeric
  • 2 cm ginger

How to make:
  • Heat the oil. Saute the spices, lemongrass, turmeric leaves, and leaf bowl up harem.
  • Add the egg. Stir well. Insert thin coconut milk, acid kandis, salt, and brown sugar. Cook until thick.
  • Add onion. Stir well. Pour the coconut milk. Cook until dry.
