Potato Donuts

Howdy friend otherwayz, this time we will share about how to make the recipe variations of donuts, potato donuts. Additional potatoes in this recipe can make donut dough softer and tender when bitten. For fans or a hobby cook, here we provide a recipe to make potato donut :

  • 250 grams of potatoes (steamed, then mashed)
  • 400 grams of wheat flour
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 35 grams of margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100 ml of cold water
  • 1 egg
  • 6 grams of instant yeast
  • 15 grams of milk powder
  • half a teaspoon of baking powder
  • Sprinkles (sugar, melted chocolate or meses) to taste
How to make :
  • Combine flour, milk powder, instant yeast, sugar, baking powder and stir until blended.
  • Enter the potatoes that have been mashed, stir again.
  • Add egg and ice water gradually, knead dough until smooth or elastic.
  • Add salt and margarine, knead again. Wait about 15 minutes.
  • Prepare a baking sheet, sprinkle with flour before.
  • Make holes in the center circle then.
  • Let stand about 35 minutes, so that inflate well.
  • Fry on medium heat until golden brown.
  • Serve donut, sprinkle with powdered sugar, melted chocolate or meses.
