"Ote-Ote"

"Ote ote" is a typical Indonesian snacks that can be served anytime. Here we will for how to make "ote ote"
 
Ingredients :

  • 250 grams of wheat flour
  • cooking oil
  • 200 grams of shrimp
  • 100 grams of bean sprouts
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stalk celery, finely sliced
  • 200 grams of cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams of carrots, thinly sliced
Seasoning :
  • 1 clove garlic
  • half teaspoon instant bouillon
  • half a teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
How to make :
  • Puree all ingredients.
  • Combine flour, eggs and spices, mix well.
  • Add carrots, cabbage, bean sprouts, and celery, stir again.
  • Heat the oil, put a ladle (as mold), lift the ladle, then pour the batter, put the shrimp on top, put a ladle into hot oil, fry until "ote ote" out of the mold.
  • Fry until golden brown and serve while warm, eat with chili.
